CAC-CAS research group is currently working towards its goal to assist medical experts by data collection and/or decision support system. We invite postgraduate candidates (PhD and MSc) to join our research group. The followings are some of the research areas under this project: Image processing, Database, Artificial Intelligent, Software Engineering, and Computer Graphics. The expected output are cardiovascular info. system, heart disease DSS, medical research and 3D medical visualization.

Through my last visit to HUKM,and while i was in the "Cath Lab" capturing some pictures for Angiograms system,i found out that the device had two cameras to picture the heart.I investigated from the specialists, they told me we usually don't use both of the cams because it needs more time for adjustment and synchronization and maybe the results will not be that accurate.Anyway,this new device can do the job by one cam but it will not be easy for the students who are seeking 3D Reconstruction using multiple views.
